Bio

I entered public service at the age of 22 as an entry level clerk for the City of Rochester, NY. I rapidly outgrew several positions in my first seven years with the organization and after four previous promotions, I was promoted to Assistant Cemetery Manager charged with overseeing the administrative functions of two large municipal cemeteries, including historic Mount Hope Cemetery. I was a volunteer member of my town's Zoning Board of Appeals when I was offered the job of replacing their long-time Human Resource Manager. My new career in public sector HR began on 1/1/2015. My management experience provided a solid base for this role, but there is certainly a learning curve when entering Human Resources and I have eagerly accepted each challenge and learning experience.

I am the proud father of two boys that keep me busy outside of work. Volunteering, hiking, and exploring history and new places never gets old, and I cherish every moment. I also enjoy participating in local politics, reading, attending Buffalo Bills games, and participating in community events.
